Shifts: First shift daytime hours, Monday-Friday (most laboratories)

What you'll do as a Quality Control Analyst:

  • Work alongside the Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams to ensure compliant procedures
  • Complete verifications of equipment and instruments, including ongoing management of equipment records
  • Maintain expirations and storage conditions of various chemicals and ensure they are fit for use
  • Review procedures and documents, training files and quality control reviews
  • Create spreadsheets including basic functions, advanced formulas, conditional formatting or macros
  • Maintain laboratory training files
  • Assist in preparation for audits and conduct internal audits

Requirements of a Quality Control Analyst:

  • A Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in a science field: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Animal Science, Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Horticulture, or Environmental Science)
  • 3 years’ experience in a quality related position or similar laboratory experience
  • ISO 17025 training (will be required after hire if not obtained prior)
  • Positive attitude, high integrity and ability to work well with others
  • Self-starter, problem solver with the ability to make decisions independently
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced laboratory skills
  • Ability to stand 100% of the time

Soil Analysis, Plant Analysis, Chromatography, Microbiology, Wet Chemistry, Feed Analysis, Food Analysis, Pet Food Analysis
