What We Measure

Noll’s process utilizes a structured interview format of open-ended questions that identify 29 work behavioral traits/tendencies in the areas of management, sales and support services. The questionnaires used in the interview process include pre-determined sets of terms/phrases that interviewers are trained to listen for during responses. These terms/phrases have been developed on the basis of numerous concurrent, as well as predictive, criterion-related studies.

Each interview is then analyzed for job relatedness. Individual local validation studies can also be conducted for your organization to cross validate the research findings established in other settings. Because of this specificity, our behavioral profile is extremely accurate, regardless of the industry or geographical area involved.

Our interviews are behavioral in nature – not clinical. Therefore, they are not intended to be a diagnosis of mental health, but rather as an information source about how individuals are likely to perform in the workplace.
